html doc as splash screen?

I recently made an app for a local takeaway and it uses a splash screen to display a special offer. I would like to transfer control of this screen only to the client. The only solution i can think of is to set up an html doc screen which connects via url to a html re direct document in dropbox which re directs to an image url in photobucket. This would allow change of image without need to update the app This works fine using html doc screen but not using splash screen. Any ideas on alternative or way to make it work?

Sounds like a plan. Love posts where the poster updates with own solution! Best of luck with the app.

Tried solution but photobucket keeps displaying the old image even though i deleted it and replaced it with one of the same name. Back to the drawing board.
