Quiz plugin question

I have 2 questions about this quiz plugin: - I created a test app using this plugin, and I tested it on an android phone. When the 3 choices are displayed, the third one is not entirely shown, and when I try to slide the screen to see the choice and click on it, the screen doesn't slide. Anybody had that issue ? - I'd like to know what is this white thing in the quiz, at the top. It look like an ad but I don't know if it's an ad. It takes a lot of space on the screen and I wonder why it is for... Thanks for your answers.

Do you have ads enabled in your control panel for that screen? It sounds like that is the case. Either way the code is building a holding place and move the screen for an ad.

I'm not able to enable ads on this screen, there's no option. That's why I don't understand... On the other screens, you can enable/disable ads, but not on this one.

iOS or Droid? may have to look at the code in the plugin to see where it is building the ad space.

I just ran through a self hosted project that has a quiz, and it does not have anything either. Is the white box below the Nav bar? I have seen a solid or transparent nav bar move some things on the screen a little funny if it is transparent. maybe set the default in the theme for the app to solid and see? Sorry, I am not much help on this one.

It's a default photo that comes with the quiz plug in. You need to replace it with your own photo on your dashboard. Or, I'm not sure if this would work, but you could just delete it in your editor.

@vDesjardins in case of android apps you need to integrate ad separately inorder to display it in your apps. As @Rem suggested the white banner you see is the default image for quiz. You can find these images in bt project res--->drawable folder named quiz_bglarge.png and quiz_bgsmall.png. You can either replace these images with your own images or keep it as it is. I have two apps which have quiz in it. One is in tabbed layout and the screen just fits barely on my devices so i decided to exclude this screen for including ads. The other app has quiz on non tabbed layout and thus i could include banner ad in this screen. You can check out my apps in the following links for better understanding. Link for first app: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.independencedayquiz Link for second app: http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wordboxtwenty20worldcup2012 Can you tell me which android device are you using to test your app? I normally test my apps on Galaxy S, Galaxy Y, Galaxy Ace and Xperia X10 and also on Galaxy Fit. Whenever i test bt apps on Galaxy Fit, the app screen does not fit well on the screen but it looks perfect on other devices.

@Rem: I tried to replace the images by my own image (I chose a blank dot) and the quiz stopped working... I'm not sure that deleting the lines would work... @Sandepp: Thank you for you explanations. For now I'm not trying to use any ads, but just having the quiz work without the default image. But I don't understand how I can do that. I saw that you did it. Can you tell me how ? And then I may ask your help when inserting ads, in the future. I'm testing with an LG mobile - can't remember the model right now. But when running the quiz on it, the 3rd option doesn't fit well, and I can't slide the screen. That's very upsetting... Any idea why I can't slide the screen ?

@vDesjardins- First of all you will have to create two different sized images of resolution 748x350 and 300x150 and name them quiz_bglarge.png and quiz_bgsmall.png. Then you have to place the newly custom created images in res---> drawable folder. Replace these images with the default images. I think that the screen resolution of your device might be not a regular one thats why its not fitting properly on your device. I suggest you test your app on the emulator and check whether it works fine.
