Front End Mod [Self Hosted Server] UPDATE

A HUGE thanks to coderx for fixing the button press twice issue that had me banging my head against the wall! You can follow him here: http://buzztouch.com/coderx Apart from this great fix, the index_FRONTEND.php file is now more extensively commented. It should make it a lot easier to see where to add your own content. Download: https://www.buzztouchmods.com/downloads.php?cat_id=2&download_id=37 Original Post: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=43E7AB5EF19CB4D3BB293C9 Screenshots: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/56760890/screenshots.jpg ------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those that haven't tried it, the mod is just two files: index_FRONTEND.php register.php index_FRONTEND.php has the same code as your original index.php file, but with extra code added to it. When you're happy with your editing of the index_FRONTEND.php file, just rename it to index.php and overwrite your existing index.php file. Your BT server will still be exactly the same, but with a custom front end! Along with the register.php file that goes in the same directory you will have a solution that can easily create a 'multi-page' frontend just by adding content to the index.php file! Add as many 'pages' and as much content as you like. The front end will have the same theme and colours of your bt server. Full installation README.txt is in the download. Example Pages included are: Home. About. Contact. App list. App details. Register. Please try not to copy the example pages exactly, I encourage you to experiment and add your own stuff! A bunch of clone front ends will not be good for us or buzztouch! Feel free to try it out and post your comments. --------------------------------------------------------- If you've already modified your content and don't need all the commenting in the file, then this is the updated javascript code for the buttons. It replaces the existing code on around line 375: <script type="text/javascript"> var _hidediv = null; function showdiv(id) { if(_hidediv) { _hidediv(); } else { document.getElementById('homeInfo').style.display = 'none'; } var div = document.getElementById(id); div.style.display = 'block'; _hidediv = function () { div.style.display = 'none'; }; } </script>

Great plugin, self-hosted devs should definitely install this. Great way to drive-in customers as well ;)
