iOS 8 Beta with iPhone 4S?

Has anyone tried the iOS 8 beta with the iPhone 4S yet and if so, does it work well? Thanks, David

Hi David, I been trying out the iOS 8 beta (releases 1-3) on an iPhone 4S. While I would say this has been the most stable beta I have ever tried (been running beta's since iOS 3), I defiantly would not recommend you install a beta on a phone you use as your primary phone. In my experience, it would be best to wait for a Goldmaster beta of iOS 8 before considering to install it purely for development. Have fun! -Cake

I had beta 8 on my iphone 5, and it would literally suck my battery from 100% to 0% in less than an hour. I put 7.1 back on, and it lasts all day again. The weird thing is I couldn't find anyone else experiencing the same issues, at least not by googling it.

DONT DO IT!!! :) i have 2 4S's which i loaded BETA2 onto, and it almost killed my phones. Every app crashed at some point (even the bug reporter app when trying to enter bugs!), it was PAINFULLY 'laggy' taking 3-4 seconds to respond to a press. I reverted back to 7.1.2 to bring some normality back. BETA3 was released s i tried again.....although a LITTLE better, its still 'laggy' with random crashes all over the place. Back on 7.1.2 again :) Might just wait for the actual releae, rather than these BETA's!
