2.x to 3.x plugins question

Hello all, Got my Self Hosted server upgraded from 2.x to 3.x but now the plugins all give this "Error! Error (3)" when I check for updates. I presume I need to download and reinstall all the plugins. Will this affect the old apps that use these plugins, presume not, but should ask.

Sorry it took a while to get a reply. The answer is that if you reinstall all of your plugins from scratch again, it will not affect your apps. However, make sure you get back all your plugins, because if you miss any, your apps will be affected.

1. Delete all plugins from your server via-ftp. /files/plugins 2. Refresh the plugins list. 3. Get them back from Buzztouch.com with the special link on your control panel.

Well that is another issue all together. I need to do step 3 in a different fashion. I do have all the current plugins I use, downloaded and ready to upload through the CPanel zip upload. Just did not know if that would be the correct way to do it after the upgrade (very early 2.x BETA to 3.x). Thanks :-)
