The iPhone invented this category. So surely, Apple will have the superior position. And they have (for the moment). But it's close.

I did hear from CNN today, Apple is trying to make it easier when a customer receives a new phone so they don't have to hook phone up to computer to register through itunes. LA

@LA: Wasn't this feature available since iOS5 (maybe even 4.3.3)? I recall activating over cellular in iOS5 for sure, thus CNN is a tad behind on the game;)
