Quick reality check on iOS 5.0 -- two things to check :)

Hi! Could someone help me take a quick look at an app on 5.0? I've had numerous requests to support 5.0 but I can't find a device to test! All is well in the simulator but there are two areas I want to make sure work on a physical device. Will take 5 minutes! Really appreciate it! Todd

I too can help. If you send the zipped project, I can show you the iPad and iPhone via Reflector through a JoinMe web session. Timezone-wise, I am in California. -- Niraj

Thank you so much Smug and Niraj! (Smug, yes, please FedEx me a new iPad Mini!). Can you message me your UDID and I'll build a .ipsw and send a link and the two things I'd like to test? Todd PS -- I'm in Philadelphia, GMT-5

Hi, I figured out how to use TestFlight! You can get the app here: https://testflightapp.com/join/59e6d9699174412456584bb2fb115d83-MTU3NTY2/ Todd

I loaded the Develop! app on my iPad running iOS 5.1.1 The app seems okay. Very interesting app, nicely done. 1. What screens did you want to test or check? 2. Was this app made with BuzzTouch? -- Niraj

Hi Niraj, Thanks so much! (And thank you for your kind words, this is my first iOS app!). 1a. Can you check that swipe left and swipe right are working on the timer screen? 1b. Can you check that the "Thank You" selection on the settings page brings up a screen with a little note and the option to make a purchase? 1c. Can you check that the ability to Duplicate a recipe works? (This is on the bottom tool bar when on the recipe detail page). 2. I have gone over the site and frankly am not 100% sure what BuzzTouch is :). I used Xcode for this and the iOS 6.1 SDK. Happy to address any questions. Again, thank you. I will push one last (hopefully last) release today so please be on the lookout and then give it one last try. -- Todd PS -- I am sure you figured this out, but the app is for timing processing of film! I like to use film to take photographs.

Todd, It all works! I was going to ask a chemist friend about the recipes. I had no idea it was for Film processing! You have smart coding skills! BuzzTouch will broaden your capabilities to pump out iOS and Android apps. If you need a bit of insight, let me know. A quick phone call will help you understand. Otherwise, watch a few of the videos on the site. -- Niraj
