I can already think of more things that I want to have hired done than I have budget for, lol. It would be nice to see a potential price range for specific services on the developers page. For example, if I want to hire a developer to do an intro video for my app's splash video, it would be nice to see something like: "Price Range - $30 to $75" or "Price Range - Starting at $75" or "Price Range - $150 base plus optional addons" As a customer, I wouldn't have any idea if a splash video is going to cost me $30 or $300 by looking at the developers page. Obviously the way to find out is to contact the developer and ask, but it's kind of like looking at a store that doesn't put price tags on their items... Sometimes we ask, sometimes we just keep browsing ;) Love the concept though... just looking at it from a marketing and customer retention perspective.

I will look to see if it's an After Effects template. I would tell the client ok, I found it plus the audio track that goes with it. Here's the link, make the 2 purchases, so you own the license, and the creator is happy. then I would request the app screens or work with the client to storyboard the video, so it showcases the features then a call to action at the end. do my magic and you got a killer app video, like the one I did for Niraj + I superbowl app presentation last tue. the iOs developers in the room loved it so much I actually got asked to keynote at 2 events on video app marketing. An app video hasn't been demoed before at this meetup group, so they really like that it showed our apps features. A few commented that its almost necessary to have a video where text and screenshots maybe too static nowadays. 2. if the client has a storyboard of their own like an app review script, then that's something different and would be quoted based on the specs given. 3. you go the fivvr route, which a few editors there reuse the same template possibly a single purchase license they bought and selling app videos that way, for the actual after effects template creator, its lost sales and then seeing fivvr peeps doing it for 5 bucks. imo you get what you pay for. your suggestion for $150 as a base price with options sound right, but that's not including the purchase of a template & audio license. I've gotta ask the boss lady to see what she wants to price me out on. lol Hope that helps Ed

It could be anything, from hiring a plugin to be made, to doing a simple landing page for an app. More of an example of the developers page template for having visible pricing. On a side note though, I am thinking about doing an intro video for my app at some point before I submit it, and my after effects experience is slim to none, lol.
