Unable to open an app on ios

Wondering if someone can help me with issues opening my app. It has been approved by apple over 2 yrs ago and has been working fine until early April this year. Since April 3rd 2012 I wasn't able to open my app cosmeticdoc. It loads and then screen goes blank. It returns to the main home screen on my iPhone. I have tried deleting it and reinstalling it but it doesn't seem to work. I woul appreciate some direction please. Thank you kindly in advance!!

What device SDK is your app compatible with? What OS and device are you attempting to run it on?

Sorry what is SDK? I am not very good with terms. Still a beginner! I am Trying to run on iPhone 4. I Still have my old iPhone 3G and tried opening it from iphone 3G and still didn't work. I am not sure why it has stopped working all of a sudden. I am quite sure I am under the 500,000 view per month as a developer. Any thoughts?

I thought that your app could possibly be programmed for older iOS platforms such as 4.0. Send me the link of your app on itunes and I'll try and see what happens on my end.

Thanks coderx! Is there a way to find out what SDK I have? I don't remember having to download Xcode for IOS when I submitted my app to buzztouch 2 years ago. But I have changed from windows to Mac since then. May be I need to install it. Do you think this is the problem?

I see that it was released in March of 2010, therefore its IOS 3.0 (iOS 4.0 was released in June of 2010). What OS is your iphone 3G running? It should technically work on it since I don't think you can upgrade to iOS4 on it?

I don't think the app is in iTunes. It's in the app store "cosmeticdoc". Thanks for checking. Really appreciate it!

Did you try re-downloading your source file from buzztouch and try running it locally?

Ahhh ok. Well there is tons of tutorials now compared to 2 years ago. I'm sure you will conquer and attack the problems you are having. :) And no problem, good luck.

Yep I downloaded it and also got the Xcode. I guess I have to figure out how they "talk" to each other now. Hummm challenging as I don't know much in this field. I will take my time to find out. Thanks Fred.

The biggest question is what's your apps package name. Not familiar with iOS but in Android the package name in a BTv1.4 app cannot be changed. So to update an app on the Android Market without the orginal SourceCode you're stuck if the new downloaded Source Code carries a new package name. You'll also need the orginal signing certificate. Is that also so in iOS? If not, you could just recreate the app. Fred
