Quiz without wrong answers?

Hey everyone, I'm currently attempting to build my first app and I was to implement a quiz that doesn't have any wrong answers, just different results at the end of the quiz based off of the answers the user gave to each question. Is that possible? When I first glanced at the quiz plugin there needed to be one right answer and one wrong answer. Thanks for the help and I look forward to becoming part of this vibrant community! Best, Matt

Yeah I don't think you can do that with the BT quiz plugin, you would need a custom quiz plugin or maybe look into trying to put some kind of custom flash card plugin sorry I know thats not really the answer you were looking for. But that would be neat something like a matching quiz I could use something like that, it would be great

Actually, I think there is a way to do this! I was listening to Buzzcast 3 today, from @stobe, and he mentioned a quiz that sounds similar to what you're mentioning. I think this is the forum entry he was referring to (I got it from his show notes): http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=56BFDCC29D17553F6F374CF But also check here for more info: http://idevdepot.com/category/podcast/buzzcast/ Mark

Thanks for the feedback! Mark, it still seems like both of those links won't work. A better way of describing what I'm looking for would be at the end of the quiz the user would get more of a qualitative result, rather than a quantitative. For example, if user answered yes on question 1, no on question 2, then you get X. I hope that made sense. What exactly does changing the multiplier to one do? Thanks again! Best, Matt

Hi Matt, That's pretty much what he was talking about. For instance...let's assume there are 10 questions. The user answer them, and gets 1-4 points per question. At the end of the quiz, they are shown a results page. If they get 1-10 points, then they are X; 11-15 points, then they are Y; and so on. Is that kinda what you're talking about? In any event...try contacting @stobe...he might have some suggestions! Mark

Mark, From what you say I think that will work perfectly. I'll have to tweak the questions a bit, but I think it will work. It will probably take me a week or so to get there, but I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks for all of the help! If not, I may try to create a plug in for quizzes like mine. Best, Matt
