How To: From BT Source Code to Apple App Store Approval

Here is a rough tutorial showing every single step starting from your BuzzTouch source code folder that you run in simulator to 1. Running the app on your device, 2. Emailing the provisioning profile and .ipa file to users/clients for them to run on their non local devices, 3. Uploading your binary to Apple for App Store final review. Covers- --- Code singing --- Mobile provisioning profiles --- Development vs: Distribution --- Setting up your App Store display page Part 1. http://youtu.be/lnydznIqFQY Part 2. http://youtu.be/ZMTg3DEVQ5Q Part 3. http://youtu.be/hVtlgCOfeSw Nothing fancy...

Thank you so much for doing this! I am looking forward to number 2 in particular. Now, how will I be able to find this when I need it? I will be subscribed, I guess, so I can find it, but how will others find it?

maybe not fancy but i'm sure that took a ton of work. (have not watched them all yet myself, just a preview. but a friend who is trying to learn, i sent him the links and he planned to watch today) i'm sure a ton of folks will find them useful. nice work, GREAT contribution.

Either explain in graphic detail the steps you have done and the what exactly is wrong......or just Skype (lsills81) me? I looked at 8 minutes and that is after you have created a mobile provisioning profile....then download it. I bet it is a certificate error. I didn't cover that in these tutorials. That was the part where you set up your compter and your Apple ID and Dev account....let me know

Sounds like you are almost there.....did you assign your bundle identifier to your app and set up the code signing? PS: Are all the profiles valid? If not you can delete the other ones.

that is OK....check to see if you set up a Distribution Profile or a Developer? At what part did this come up? ALSO!!! Did you open "Organizer" and select your device on the left and tell it to "Use for Development"?

that is easy.....go to Architecture in Xcode under Build Settings....and then click "Standard (armv7)" drop down and then click on "other".....then click the "+ (plus) sign" and type "armv6" then hit enter. ARMV6 is for older devices. Great job working through that!!!! PS: some constructive criticism on these video would be nice, this is my first time doing tutorials.

Go back to the Summery Page in Xcode.....change the "Devices" from "universal" to iPhone. Then no iPad build :P
