Help for the Frazzled

Hello all, I have previously started an app in 1.5. Now with 2.0, I have seen many people say go to that. Here is where my quandary is. I have looked at the lessons regarding how to build in 2.0 yet I am still lost. My app is pretty simple. I have 99.9% of my documents already. I have a few more files to add but they can wait. The files will be under seven different folders. I looked and can only add information to five separate tabs. Trying to add the files in a coherent format-futile, organizing-futile, the only success is raising my blood pressure :) If someone would be able to, help would be GREATLY appreciated. I would like for this app to be released for iOS and Android.

If you are trying to link documents, it sounds like you need to create a menu (button or list) structure to create the navigation to do that. Tell us a bit about what the app is supposed to do, we might be able to help you better if you explain its purpose.

Sorry MadRod, I'll try to explain in a little more detail here. The app is designed to deliver information in regards to a particular group(I wish to keep that private as I don't wish to offend anyone here). Here is the screens that I need in a linear format. The first part is the menu option needed followed by what I need it to lead to: Getting Started->Link to 2 MS Word Docs Key Terms->Link to 44 MS documents that have terms defined Dates->Link to 3 MS Word Docs Changes->Link to 23 MS Word Docs Interesting Quotes->Link to 31 MS Word Docs Published Material->Link to 12 MS Word Docs Speaking Tips->Link to 3 MS Word Docs (This will have more added over time). Contact->Lead to an email address, website (yet to be developed but almost ready)

Unless you know programing I don't think you can have more than five icons in a tab menu. I'd do one of the following: Use a simple menu instead of a tab menu. Have the main page be a Button Menu screen, and here you can add all those options. If you rather use the tab menu, I'd put on the 5th icon named more, than would open a menu with the remaining options. I did it with my first app, if you wanna check it out http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/regret/id526916458?ls=1&mt=8 Cheers
