Alternative to Google Maps on Android

Alrighty you guys we know to use google maps in our android app it requires obtaining an api and more coding stuff, but with a little messing around i found a way around it. So here we go.. 1.Make a custom url screen 2.Enter this url https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q= 3.After the equals sign put your location that you want the map to load like https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=4228,starmount,greensboro,nc Hope this is helpful to you guys! -Jack

Thanks for sharing, much appreciated Jack. I tried it as I was struggling with the std googlemaps implementation, which I eventually managed to get running. On my lowly device, your solution was a bit slower to load, but it worked a treat. Alan
