Can't update photo in BT website

I'm talking about the BT.com website (NOT self-hosted server), under the Profile selection. Every time, I choose a .jpg, I click on "Upload" and it just re-installs my old photo, which I had deleted. Apparently it's saving my old photo somewhere are refusing to part with it! If I was a handsome guy I'd totally understand that the website would be attached to my photo. Sadly that is not the case.
