I control the rights to a series of theatrical videos I co-produced entitled “Beckett Directs Beckett” taped in Paris under his authority shortly before his death. (See: http://mith.umd.edu//beckett/ ) One of the two works in question is “Waiting for Godot”. This is the text second only to Shakespeare uses by English classes in US high schools, colleges and universities. I also have available for incursion into the app numerous graphics, such as photos of the productions and some of the correspondence with Beckett on the subject. There is also a short docu of the San Quentin Drama Workshop which was Beckett’s choice for the English cast. The French cast includes Roman Polanski. I would like to make the material available on an app similar to that published by the Touch Press entitled “The Waste Land”.
