7 inch iPad Mini October Surprise

I guess they're taking a page from the presidential political game book. Apple's October Surprise: 7" iPad Mini http://www.cultofmac.com/177158/bloomberg-apple-will-launch-a-non-retina-7-inch-ipad-in-october-rumor/ Fred

I hope the rumors are true. I like the 1024x768 resolution, which means no extra work for us developers. I'm guessing this will be nicknamed the "Kindle Killer"? I really like the price point. Increases the audience for us iOS devs.

I want a 1 inch x 1 inch expandable iOS super-duper rubik's cube device. Apple could sell each 1 x 1 square cube "add on" for 50 bucks. If you want 11 inches, buy 11 of them. 7 inches, buy 7. The first cube, the one that came in the original package could have the charge port, headphone jack, camera, and storage device. An itty bitty proprietary connector could snap each one to it's adjacent cubes. Each cube could have another proprietary battery to power it's own mini display. iOS ala carte! Laughing.
