Installing new ADT tools should be easy. In my article The Buzztouch Process there's several videos and a how to. Fred

Hi @MadRod, When you go to install the Eclipse ADT, it should give your four choices of things to install if I recall correctly (doing it from memory). Did you select all four? That's always worked for me. Mark

Windows can be a pain in the butt for sure! And I'm an avid fan. Have you tried right-clicking on the Eclipse.exe file and doing a Run As Administrator? Sometimes that cures the problem. Mark

I'll try it. Where I'm stuck is, in eclipse going to help and then update software. Here I add the URL suggested by BT and select the ADT. I'll try again. But I googling it at it seems like a common problem since at least mid May.

I've not had a problem using the URL for the Eclipse ADT that I provided in my Android document. It worked for me as recently as a couple weeks ago! Mark

You could try removing the s and just make it http. I've seen that work before.

Hi @MadRod, I was having the same problem. I think my problem was where I saved the application when I downloaded it. I originally had Eclipse saved in Program Files(x86). So the first thing I did was move Eclipse to Program Files. Then to open the Eclipse application, I right-clicked and selected Run as Administrator (Not sure if that did anything, but I didn't want to take a chance). And, voila! I was able to download the plugin without error. Hope that helps. Good luck!
