Android HTML

I am using Smug's HTML plugin and I'm having an issue with the words running together. For example, if I put "Buzztouch is the best" in the doc, it turns out "Buzztouch isthe best." I am using Word to create these docs. I've tried adding an extra space but then other words start running together.

Ugh ... Webmaster's worst nightmare is to receive HTML that was generated by MS Word! Instead, can you use an online tool to format your text and then copy that HTML? -- Niraj

Put that document 'somewhere' on the web, and try it with the Android browser... Does it look the same? I'm kind of on the same page with Niraj; MS Word's implementation of HTML is not exactly 'perfect'. If you look at MS Word's HTML, there are a LOT of superflous markup tags that just don't belong there. If possible, try a different HTML editor for markup. But if you still have issues, let me know; we'll work through it. Cheers! -- Smug I use both editors that Chris (CMCoffee) recommends below. But those are enhanced text editors, really. They're free, so get them anyway, but most HTML is marked up by hand; If you're looking for a 'drag and drop' HTML solution they won't be it. It's hard for me to recommend a good package; I've done HTML since v1.0 and I've always done it by hand. But here is an article on Mac: http://mac.appstorm.net/roundups/web-dev/the-best-code-editors-for-your-mac-in-2013/ http://www.noupe.com/design/5-best-free-html-editors-web-developers-mac-os-x.html and windows: http://www.coffeecup.com/free-editor/ (I use the mac version of this, and am sorely dissappointed that the mac version isn't *nearly* as good as their windows version)

I recommend notepad++ for editing in any language when you're using a windows machine: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ and TextWrangler on a mac http://www.barebones.com/products/textwrangler/ Ive never explored out of these editors, but they get the job done

Lol - I've switched to using a plain text-editor (TextMate) for my general note-taking these days because I get fed up with the overhead Word or Pages brings!
