Game Center quiz scoring tip

Hey guys I had posted a thread about this a couple of months ago. I noticed that the quiz timer is ignored when you implement game center which tends to result in a mass of people with the same high score. jbrzensk was kind enough to point me in the right direction, and I figured I'd share this very simple way of factoring time into the scoring process if anybody is interested. In the BT_Screens folder click on the BT_screen_quiz.m file. In the BT_screen_quiz.m file, find the following line ( here is a screenshot of the highlighted line if you're having trouble finding it http://postimage.org/image/cty6y8jh7/ ) //figure out totalPoints totalPoints = (totalPoints + pointsPerRight); simply change that line so that it look like this - //figure out totalPoints totalPoints = ((totalPoints + pointsPerRight) - totalSeconds); That's all! I'm not even sure if the inner parentheses is necessary but it works anyway. Now every time a correct answer is selected the time on the bottom of the screen will be subtracted from the total score. So if somebody takes 10 seconds to answer the first question they will get 240 points as opposed to 249 points if somebody takes 1 second to answer (assuming the point value per question is 250)

Thanks for sharing, I am currently working on a variation of this so that "bonus points" are only awarded on each question that is answered in less than, say, 10 seconds. So if someone takes more than 10 seconds on a question, they only get the default points, otherwise they get points plus 10 or 20 depending on how fast they got it correct.
