Android V1.5 map not showing purple icons.

I am using Android V1.5 with the main feature of the app using apps. I have a red pin marking tracks and purple pins marking stores. Now win i use the maps on the device all the red locations show up but the purple locations do not show up, at all. I hope so so so much that V1.5 does support different coloured icons, otherwise i am going to have a BIG problem. I cannot stress how much i need this to work. PLEASE HELP!?!???
