black screen on startup

Even after publishing the app in appstore i get this black screen when my app starts with this message "change default-potrait-ipad.png in xcode". I guess this is something from buzztouch :S Is it for everybody or just for me?

That's for everybody. You can go in and change them in xCode but then you'll have to reconfigure your app and release an update so the people who have downloaded it already will get the one with the updated screens. They're there as a placeholder while the app is loading so you can put a logo or something on it and it will act like a faux splash screen.

These images can be found in your BT_Images folder. Like Ag-Chieve, I use them as a splash screen for my app. I just open up the image, modify them to look like I want, and then save. Apple uses these images as a way to make it look like to the user that the app is in the process of loading. Their intent is that the images look like the main framework on the app, but I've found that it appears many apps use them as splash screens instead. Either way, at the very least you'll want to get rid of the current text and make them completely black. Mark
