I'm stuck on creating correct distribution profile..

I can successfully create the development profile and build and run the BT program on my ipod touch with no issues. I followed through and did the correct steps for creating the distribution certificate and distribution provisioning profile, but when I go to set the xcode project code signing for distribution, I get the 'profile doesn't match Application Identifier. I've tried the same steps about 5 different times with the same results, can someone send me the procedures to make sure I am doing everything correct? I deleted all my previous certificates and everything else I could think of that I used in the previous attempts. Probably just one thing I didn't do correct is causing this. Thanks!

Man, I hate Apple certificates! So complicated! Not sure if this will help at all...it has helped me in the past. http://btugwiki.com/index.php/Code_Signing_Basics Mark

The Bundle Identifier in the Summary tab of Xcode needs to match exactly what was entered with Apple. The Apple certificate also needs to be set for "App Store and not "Ad Hoc" in Distribution Method section on the Apple Distribution Provision Profiles web site.

Gb78 was right, After going through the steps that GoNorthWest sent me the link to around 20 times with the same issue, I finally checked my Info.plist file and it didn't match what I had on my Apple Provisioning info - once I changed the .plist file, all was ok and I finally submitted the app to the iTunes store.. Whew! Thanks everyone for all your suggestions!
