Testing my App on Devices iOS,2.0

Hi all! I LOVE BUZZTOUCH! I am trying to test my app on my iPhone but keep getting this warning Xcode cannot run using the selected device. No provisioned iOS devices are available with a compatible iOS version. Connect an iOS device with a recent enough version of iOS to run your application or choose an iOS simulator as the destination. iOS team provisioning is vervified and it is in my devices any help like always? THANKS!

Do you have a Apple's Developer account? You need this in order to get a provisioning profile and deploy your app to your iPhone. Also what IOS version are you running on your iPhone?

You said that your iPhone is running iOS 2.0. The reason your app is not working is that Xcode does not support that low of a software. That means you have to install as new of an iOS software you can (at least iOS 3) and make sure that the deployment target in Xcode is set to iOS 3.

I think what he means is that he's using BT 2.0, and trying to run on his iDevice! In any event, @mdg is correct in that you need a developer certificate in order to test your app on an actual device. And that requires the Apple Developer account. Worth the $99/yr, which you'll have to pay anyway if you're going to submit you app to iTunes. @munny1 has good advice thought - when you compile your app, select the target iOS to be 3, and that'll allow the greatest number of devices to run your app. You'll likely hit an error based on armv6, but this document will get you past that: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Common_Apple_Errors_and_Solutions_v1.0.pdf Mark

Sounds like you haven't changed the xcode project to work with a developer profile.

@GoNorthWest the armv6 article: in a follow up to that, I recently posted a thread with screenshots and all that might help you setting up armv6 but if I were you, I would carefully read the guide and the thread before going in to change your architectures. Cheers, Munny1
