Is it possible to launch the Facebook app from a Buzztouch app?

I'm trying to find a way to launch the iOS Facebook app from a list item or button. The reason I want to do this is because I have a Facebook Check-in Deal setup. If a customer checks-in from the restaurant 5 times they get a free appetizer. In the app I want it to say “Check-in on Facebook” and then launch the Facebook app, so they can check-in. I looked into doing this with a Custom URL and pointing that at facebook.com, but the end user has to click on so many different things just to check-in on the mobile FB website, so getting the user quickly into the iOS Facebook app seems to be the easiest way to have them check-in. I even looked into the Facebook mobile API’s to integrate the check-in process directly into the Buzztouch app and quickly realized that was WAY over my head. Any ideas on how to accomplish this with Buzztouch?

Hi there, Take a look here: http://wiki.akosma.com/IPhone_URL_Schemes Scroll to third party applications and you will find FB. You would need to implement this in a Custom URL, Webpage. Best of luck! LE: For some reason it doesn't seem to work.. I'll keep trying and update you(I know I'm doing something wrong...)

You should be able to put the custom url scheme in a launch native ios app plugin. (ie. fb://profile) Haven't checked, but that should work.

WOW that was easy! The answer is simple use the "Launch Native App" screen. I was working on this at midnight after already spending hours in front of the computer. I can't believe I missed something so simple and spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out how to do it. @MGoBlue - You have always been a great help here on the forum - much appreciated.
