Add wallpaper and email buttons to images

Hello all, I am trying to design a simple content app. I have created 40 images to scroll through for use as wallpaper. I would like to have a one-click button that automatically transfers that image as a new wallpaper. Also, I would like to include an option to email that photo. I have seen these features on an app: Ganesha108 from the app store. Any ideas on how to accomplish this? Can someone design a plugin, or is there one that exists? Or does an upgraded account contain the features I want? Etc. Any response is greatly appreciated. All the best, Photovault.com

"I would like to have a one-click button that automatically transfers that image as a new wallpaper." I don't think that's possible with buzztouch just yet. " Also, I would like to include an option to email that photo. " That should be possible with the email image function in the advanced settings list of the gallery screen/plugin. What version of buzztouch are you using? Cheers, David buzztouchmods.com

As above, the email image or save image are available in gallery properties but not a direct use as wallpaper setting. It's a small extra step to allow the users to save images and then use as wallpaper.

Yup only one step.. I took a peek on google and found this: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2649529/how-to-change-wallpaper-in-ipad-programmatically So I think that answers my unasked question of how hard would it be to have a "use as wallpaper" function in buzztouch. David buzztouchmods.com

Thanks David, You've been a big help. | What version of buzztouch are you using? I think the free version? V2.0? | So I think that answers my unasked question of how hard would it be to have | a "use as wallpaper" function in buzztouch. Since we're on the subject, the app I'm using as a model "Ganesha108" has a "Save for Wallpaper" option and does just what your link provides: it saves the photo into the correct folder with a popup explaining how to follow-through with the upload. Is this possible with the version I'm using? Moreover, what I really want is a gallery function. I simply want an app that displays the image .jpg contents I have on my hard drive. Can I do this with Buzztouch? Another critical factor in my participating fully in the Buzztouch community is that I am running on OS10.5.8 and have installed Xcode 3. From my current experiments, it seems like the Buzztouch app which I've created as a test cannot be at least modeled in this version, and it seems like produced because of the preview limitations. Can I use the free version to do these things? What about the paid? Can I use 10.5.8 to make the kinds of photo apps I want to? Scroll through image gallery, a thumbnail view, and perhaps the button functionality we've been addressing. Any help would be great. All the best, Vern.

A gallery plugin is what your looking for, is available currently. I would recommend updating your xcode to the latest version (you'll end up loving 4 more then 3 - trust me!) Drop me a email: [email protected] - get team viewer set up, I'll show you some free gallery tools, and help set up your new xcode. David buzztouchmods.com

Well, I can't upgrade I don't think. My present system OS10.5.8 is the maximum version my PCU can run, and Xcode 4 is too advanced for what I'm running. Moreover, team viewer would be difficult, if not impossible, for me due to my slow internet connection (I'm very rural). Can you recommend any gallery tools via the forum, or email: [email protected] ? And these are possible with the free version? Thanks for all the help. -Photovault.

Well the thing is you do need to be more careful with html based gallery plugins, apple has been getting strict with non native based apps! Let me find the one I used to use.. hopefully not too outdated, will post a link here ;) David buzztouchmods.com

For the moment, I have an assistant here who is installing xcode 4 on his laptop, so I can get a sense of things. and I know I need to upgrade. but after he leaves, I will be back to xcode 3 and trying to work with that. and would like to do work during the time it takes to transition from 3 to 4, which will take time.
