Native Software?

I am developing an app that has a neat collection of my own coffee recipes. However, I am mostly using the Custom HTML plugin and am worried that Apple will reject it with saying that everything on the app can be done on the internet. So I am asking for ideas to make it a more native app with interaction that can't be done on the internet. 1. One ideas is quizzes. How do I make a quiz on v2.0. Anybody know. 2. I also thought of putting in a map of some of the greatest coffee growing locations in the world but I desperately want to keep the app offline. So anyone, ideas or help for me?

2.0 free right? not self hosted? If 2.0 doesn't have it, self hosted has the plugin. You could do the map too, I get that you want it offline, but, it would only be one feature that would be required to use online (get what I mean kinda)? You could do Search, that's native too. But why does 2.0 free not have the plugin when 1.5 does?

I have no idea - to be honest I haven't made a app on buzztouch.com (I'm self hosted) for like... more then half a year I think. I could guess that the code is simply not compatible? David buzztouchmods.com

Do you have to pay for self hosted?

Now that I look at it, 1.5 has a ton more plugins than 2.0: what gives? 2.0 will grow but 1.5 has more? What to use?

Yup gotta pay for self hosted - its the "premium" version of buzztouch free. Self hosted 2.1.7 has third party plugins, which brings in more functionality, including mods, and control over the server. David buzztouchmods.com

https://buzztouchmods.com @ceerup Thanks. maybe a html based quiz with a backend could work? Or just wait for the plugin to be released on buzztouch. David buzzztouchmods.com

@ceerup do you know when the plugin should be arriving? @David I don't see a plugin on your site for a quiz, point me in the right direction? By the way, I am using BT Free not SH. Munny1

You can't use plugins on the free version (whole point of self hosted is for plugins). I'm sorry :-( David buzztouchmods.com

From the BT site: Custom Plugins "The buzztouch.com control panel does not allow you to upload custom plugins. This means the features available in your applications will be limited to the number of plugins we make available in your buzztouch.com control panel. Self hosting the software allows you to add an unlimited number of plugins to your applications." David buzztouchmods.com

But why does v1.5 have a custom plugin option in the free version. Also, do you know if there is a quiz plugin coming for BT 2.0, I would think so?

While self-hosted is clearly the future, 1.5 may suit you better right now since it has an iOS quiz. (1.4 has a quiz that works for both Android and iOS so you could try that too, although everything else is so limited. I still have active 1.4 apps that get regular downloads.)

The thing is, I am already building the app on 2.0. I have a blank 1.5 app that I might transfer my data to, if I feel the need... Anymore native function besides the quiz? Munny1
