Changed App icon but not show in emulator

I have changed a lot of the menu items in my first app, names, etc. and have seen the changes in the virtual device after refreshing Eclipse. But I have also changed the app icon and that has not changed, do I have to download it separately. Pete.

You can simply replace the icon.png in the source code. In BTv2.0 it's in the drawable folder. Recommend you read Buzztouch Source Code BTv2.0 found in my guide www.MySkylla.com Fred

Menu title is changed in the control panel Go to advance properties in the relevant screen. The app name is in Core Settings Fred

If you change the app icon, you need to download the source code again and recompile. I don't think it's as simple as replacing the icon in the res>drawable folder. Mark

You could re-download the Source Code but: It's unnecessary If you've made changes to the source code you'll have to redo. (Ouch) And, yes, it's that simple. You may wish to (if you haven't already) replace the icon in the control Panel, but that's just so you'll see the most current icon in the Control Panel. So, like Nancy Regan said, 'Just say No! to source code re-downloads'. And yes, you must recompile, since any change to the source code requires such. Fred

Make sure you do a clean before compile, it can do wonders! (xcode >build > clean) David buzztouchmods.com
