I'm using a locally stored html text file in my app and want to embed a short video into it. The video will be embedded within the app too. I've tried to do it the way I normally would: <embed src="FinalSkylightDemo4.mov" width="240" height="148"> </embed> but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

When you do it like that, do you get an empty box, or nothing at all? I have only embedded URL videos. Curious as to what you see.

I pasted it back in to see what I got and the thing worked this time! I must have missed something last time, cos I got a red "no entry" icon over the play button. This time it worked perfectly! one of those days!

Glad it worked. I have a short video I have been thinking of including within the app myself.

it works quite well. Doesn't play in place though. When clicked, it opens full screen, then when it's done playing, it takes you back to the page you clicked on it from.

@basement where did you place "<embed src="FinalSkylightDemo4.mov" width="240" height="148"> </embed>" and if you get it to resize would you post how. Thank you!!!!

i would be interested also, since youtube videos aren't supported on the latest version of buzztouch app.. i would love to put a movie in my app from you tube

I was wanting to understand how to control the size of the video....keep it from going full screen.

I use 1.5. Tried 2, but it seems to have less options when I looked. here's what I see: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1e2uhlstdhr61qd/IMG_6505.PNG but when I touch the movie image, it does play in full screen. (I've set my app not to rotate, but it would be nice to have the video still rotate, otherwise it seems like a waste of screen real estate) It's just in the html code: <center> <p><img height="51" src="skylightlogo150.png" width="150" /></p> <p> <embed src="FinalSkylightDemo4.mov" width="240" height="148"> </embed> </p> </center>

you create a new html(text) file in BT, and drop in the HTML code. If you want me to create it for you, send me a DM with what you need.
