Not sure of the most efficient way to go about building my app

My goal is to make an information app with links to external websites, pages of text, and a flashcard portion. I spent a month making this in MIT App inventor before I found buzztouch and am now trying to figure out how to recreate it. The way I made the flashcards was I set up 2 variables which each called a list, one with questions, one with answers. I then had a text box that would have the text changed every time you moved through the next item on that list. I'm not sure what would be the best way to go about recreating something like this in buzztouch. Is there a way I can setup a database or something and have the app pull from the database for the questions and answers?

Hi Dustin, Welcome to buzztouch! This sounds like something you could do using PHP and an HTML screen in buzztouch. Just treat it like a normal web page. Also...maybe JavaScript or jQuery? buzztouch provides tons of different screen types, and many can be extended to meet your needs. Just experiment around, and let us know if you have any questions! Hey Mark, I think I might go the PHP and HTML route. Would I want a custom HTML screen or an HTML Doc to accomplish this? Thanks!

You'd want to use the Custom URL screen, and point to a PHP script if you use the script to generate an HTML page. If you have a standard HTML doc that has some PHP in it (but still has a .html extension), then you could use the HTML Doc screen. The Custom HTML screen won't work in most of these situations. Great, thanks, I'll try to do it in a HTML doc then.
