Wheel of death resolution issue

Hi Folks! Im getting the wheel of death from my custom html screens, v 2.0. Ive been trying to resolve via Fred's guide, but when I comment out line 132, the 10 rows higher - public boolean shouldOverrideUrlLoading(WebView view, String url) throws up a boolean error! J'trés confused! Anyone found another way aorund this circle? Cheers, Aaron

Does this happens when you click a 'secondary' link in a website? If so I used Launch Native Apps plugin rather than Custom html screen to get around it

Thanks RobK, due to screen limitations i kind of needed the links through the html screens, but thanks muchly for your suggestion though! Fred!!!! your wheel of death guide could be wrong, i've resolved the issue, but onyl after commenting out line 127 in BT_screen_customHTML.java, rather than the 131 you mention in the guide, just thought I would let you know! Not sure if its ust this app or others Cheers, Aaron

Hi Aaron, Yeah, it's actually this bit of code that needs to be commented out: showProgress(null, null); Fred actually notes that, but it can be a bit confusing because he notes line numbers that have change...which tends to happen with code! In any event, sounds like you have found the issue...though all it really does is stop the showProgress indicator, but doesn't solve whatever might be preventing actual progress from being made.
