App Approval in 3 hours 34 minutes.

I uploaded my app (it is 180 MB so I was nervous it was WAY too large for Apple) last Friday (6 days ago) and today at 1:12 PM it went from "Waiting for Review" to "In Review" then at 4:37 PM (same day) it switched to "Processing for App Store" and then at that sweet hour of 4:46 PM (still same day) it read "Ready to Sale"!!!! ***I am speaking of the UI in iTunes Connect for those not familiar with the process. Thank you BT guys!!!! This was all possible because of the BuzzTouch engine and ALSO the BT community. Thank you again for all the help NOT JUST ON MY QUESTIONS but also the others that you provided excellent help with. Anybody that has questions I would be more then happy to help.

Thank you...It is a FULL Service Ford Auto dealership app...it's a sales/finance/social portal/iMessages/credit application/set service appointment app with extensive PDF's showcasing all the tech specs for every 2012/2013 Ford product. I am the finance manager for that dealership so I tailored the app for "sales"....not just plain information. I have a video that I will URL link now that I am self hosted bringing that app size down about 100MB. Building the update now...AND was able to add PUSH. I made the app for both retina iPads and iPhones so all PDF's are brilliantly displayed in HD. I set it up so you could use the iPad on a pedestal next to all of the new cars in the dealership with the PDFs offering all the info needed. ect ect ect.....I set it to go live on July 1st. I will have Push included in an update before then. Expect to see the link as soon as it is live.

Don't worry too much about size. I have submitted a few 500+ MB apps without problems. Congrats on the approval! I know its always a good feeling of relief.

@lsills81: Way to go! I grew up in the auto industry and have fond memories of doing ALL the jobs (sales, finance, tech, all the management positions, etc, etc) for tons of years before the internet "got me" in the 90's. I don't plan to go back - wink. Have you seen my Thrifty Auto Sales app? It has some neat plugins and mixes lots of the different concepts seen on this site. It's a basic app and a few years old (it gets very few downloads) but it keeps the client happy. What is the name of this app, the Ford app, I would love to see it.

Nice one mate. Remember to post the link when it's live, sounds like a great job.

Thank you guys! @david I will be dl'ing that Thrifty Auto Sales app! Can you guys help me get started in the right direction for programing. I started a C class....and then will take a Obj C class...I want to better understand how a app is designed and NOT just rely on BT to do it for me (kinda feels like I am cheating since I wrote very little code). I want to be able to create my own plugins. My goal is to design a News Stand app....also any luck with Geo Fencing? Thanks again! @MacApple I will post the link when it goes live. Is there any way to change the release date when I update it tonight with the push binary?

Just keep the release date set to the future and don't select Apple to push it live right away and you'll be cool.

Why would you not want to push it live right away? Thanks

And can you change the release date if you update the app (uploading new binary) in iTunes Connect?

Ah, sorry. Thought you wanted to hold the release date off. There is a theory about what the best day is to launch paid apps. http://www.macnn.com/articles/11/12/20/wednesday.sunday.roughly.tied.for.android/

My app is designed for the client...not a paid app. Thanks for that link. I will look this over later

Good stuff, realised after I commented that is probably isn't as relevant for you. All the best with it.

@MacApple what is your suggestion for those of us that REALLY want to delve into iOS development and build custom plug-ins?

@David, Is there a section on Buzz Touch where the community can download apps created using Buzz Touch and also down load the source code? I would love to see how you coded Thrifty Auto Sales app?
