Can't Build to 5.1.1?

I'm having a problem compiling my app to my 4S running 5.1.1 (the latest software). I don't want to upgrade (or downgrade in a way) to 6.0 because it seems a little buggy on my old 3GS and would rather not loose my jailbreak. Heres a screenshot of my organizer in Xcode is anyone else facing this issue? https://www.dropbox.com/s/i9gzt7xm1opyosf/Screen%20Shot%202012-06-12%20at%208.18.30%20PM.png Thanks -Aaron

Hi Aaron, Looks like you just need to update the SDK in Xcode to include 5.1.1. It's only got (from the image) up to 5.0. Looks like you have to update to Xcode 4.3.3 to get the 5.1 SDK. https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action Mark

Hmm okay sounds easy enough. Do you have any idea why this problem has just surfaced? I took the weekend off and came back to this error. I havn't had a problem in the past building to 5.1. I should have know this was the issue when I saw that it only gave me the option to build to 5.0 on iPhone and iPad simulators when it has always been 5.1 in the past.

Did you update the iOS version on your phone over the weekend? That's what looks like happened to me.

Nope my phones stayed exactly the same. Although I did update my old 3GS to 6.0 but that shouldn't be a problem right?

Well, bottom line is that Organizer says your phone is at 5.1.1, and your SDK only covers 5.0. So, you can only build for devices that have 5.0 or less, unless you either upgrade your SDK, or downgrade your iOS. That's how I understand it to work! Mark

How do I upgrade my SDK? I have the latest version of Xcode installed and it won't work even with IOS 6 now! This is frustrating considering I've never once had a problem with it in the past and I'm so close to publishing my second app.
