What is the best way to learn about how to use the plugins since the tutorials aren't completed

Hello, Just starting here trying to learn how to use the system. Have gone through the training vids and when moving to the plugin section it indicates they are still to come--- what is the best way to learn about them without just experimenting? I'm not a techy and all the coding is foreign language to me. Thanks in advance for any helpful hints

Hi @wholehealthdoc, Welcome to buzztouch! Unless you are using the self-hosting BT Server, from the perspective of a general buzztouch.com user, the plugins are simply screen types that are available for your app. When you self-host, you actually have to install the plugins that contain the functionality you want to provide. For buzztouch.com, they're already there. The tutorials, I think, will cover a lot on the basic concept of plugins, as well as how to create your own. I would imagine they'll be out pretty soon. In the meantime...on thing you can do is look at the documentation for each plugin. Go into your account, click on Plugins, and click on the one you are interested in. There's good stuff to read there. Mark

If your an android user, trust me when I say by the time you've eventually got Eclipse sorted and the emulator working the plugins are child's play! As GoNorthWest says though just look at the documentation for the plugins. The screen shots basically shows you what they may look like. If you have an idea for an app you should be able to envisage which plugin you will need pretty quickly or whether you are being a tad ambitious!!! Also I actually drew a simple flowchart to start and then found a suitable plugin for each screen. So before I even started I had planned out the app before I even started Once you start you will quite quickly find that using the plugins are pretty self-explanatory. Although you will have to search the forums from time to time to figure out why it may not be performing how you had hoped. Good Luck!
