How do i get a certain page to open on application start?

I'm having a problem with my app too. When i run it through the android emulator it loads up at a side page/screen. It doesn't start up at my desired home page. how do i fix this or set a certain page to be the 'home page'? When my application loads up it loads on to a page that is a side page (a link on my home page) so i was wondering how i can make the application open onto the home page with all the buttons to the other pages (side page).
