Im following your instructions GoNorthWest and im in the SDK manager. Ive entered in the Add-on-site URL as instructed, and im selecting the new packages, but ive realized that Google API's by Google Inc isnt an option for any of the versions. Is that a necessary download or can i do without it?

Hi Class1c, You have to select Google APIs...it won't work without it. The Google APIs are a subset of the Android API...you should have options available like I have them highlighted in the document. Mark

As well, Android 4.0.3 is now the default package and it has a couple other options selected that the 4.0 package doesnt offer.

Can you get me a screen shot of exactly what you're seeing? And make sure to expand the Android 2.2 section so I can check that out. Mark

Well, that's just weird. They should be there. Try exiting Android SDK Manager, going back in, letting it download the updates, and see if they show up. Mark

If I'm reading your images correctly you don't have Google 2.2 API level 8 installed. Strongly suggest you read The Buzztouch Process (Android ) www.MySkylla.com Fred

Fred - That's exactly the problem. If you look at the image he provided, THE OPTION to install Google API is not being presented as it should be. So, that's what we need to figure out.

You might also want to try and install the Eclipse Android Development Tools (ADT) plugin if you haven't yet. The instructions are in the doc, and also here: http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html#installing Mark

OK, i installed ADT and then went back to install the SDK packages. These are now the packages that appear. if i install all that i have selected, including the 1.6 with the SDK platform and the Google APIs that it offers, will i run into any trouble? this is the screen shot http://www.wikihow.com/images/2/22/Untitled2_343.png

Sweet! Unless you have a reason to install Android 4.0.3 and 4.0, you can deselect those completely. For Android 2.2, you have it perfectly selected! Mark

Hi, I am new to Buzztouch and new to creating Apps. I have used Buzztouch v2.0 to create my first App, I have setup the SDK and Eclipse (Indigo) and followed your instructions for an App created with Buzztouch v1.5 but can't get the App to show in my virtual device. Are the settings different for an App created with Buzztouch v2.0. Pete.
