Android Learning Path available, go for it!

Hi gang, The Android Learning Path has been enabled. When the iOS path was turned on you found, and we fixed, about 10 typos and grammar errors. Lets see if we can find 11 this time ;-)

Cool!! I'm double crossing my fingers to find something about integrating some sort of an ad network into Eclipse. Great addition to an already great Buzztouch!!

Wohoooooooooo! 3 shiny stars, right there! Didn't notice any other HUGE typos during the quizes, David, although I was rather excited and stopped hunting for them.

Understanding Eclipse Excellent video, it enhanced my understanding of Eclipse. Q. 8, Needs the word Manager, otherwise is a guess as to whether the reference is to a AVD or the AVD Manager Q. 12, As used in the video, the "correct" answer is "there's no difference". But there's actually a big difference, the simulator (iOS) only appears (simulate) to be an iPhone (or iPad), whereas the Emulator (Android) is a virtual device. The simulator can't do many things (email) a iDevice can do because it doesn't have the know how. Whereas the Emulator can do anything the actual device can do. (Believe there one or two hardware limitations.) The difference is important when you're trying to understand why the email screen (action) won't work on the simulator. Even more so if you see the Android Emulator handling emails. The fudging leads many to try to figure out what's wrong with their screen setup, when there's nothing wrong. In addition, this misunderstanding leads many (iOS types) to assume and declare that ' X ' can't be done on the Android Emulator. Fred

thanks BT gang! this free training is awesome. much appreciated. I might be holding off on this one for a few weeks. just starting to make progress with my iOS plug-ins and want to keep my focus there right now. best news about this is that the NEXT learning path includes PLUG-INS!
