Ah man, still problems with the certs? What happens when you double click on the certificate that you created? Stupid question, is your new mac signed in using your apple dev username/password?

another dumb question from my end. When you go to xcode, and you go to organizer, and you view your devices. Is your new MAC used as a developer (is it green or red next to it?)

OK this is how mine looks like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/yn9zfp3t5be36yr/Screen%20shot%202012-06-01%20at%205.04.08%20PM.png So when you actually click on it, it doesnt give you an option to enable developer? You totally stumped me...

From stackoverflow: "You can't install a certificate on a different machine that the CSR (cert request) was generated from just from the certificate. The reason is this stuff is based on asymmetric cryptography, also called Public-key crypto. The machine you generated the CSR on created a Private key, and stored that in it's keychain, but sent it's public key along with the CSR. When Apple generates the cert, they use your public key in the creation of the Cert. In order for you to use that cert, the machine must have both your private and public keys in the keychain. You can export your public/private keys from the original machine and import them on your second computer, and then you'll be able to use your cert on both machines. Note: it's very important you keep your private key private - don't share it with other users, don't put it on a public file share." From me: So if you have access still to old machine maybe go into your keychain access find your developer certificate and export it ( I believe it'll export as a .p12 file) double click it

So if you disable and then enable, it should work? @Arubaman my old machine was sold, and I never had a chance to recover any sort of keys. I just enabled developer on the new one, delete all the keys on the provision portal, recreate it, re-download it... and thats it.. poof worked like a charm. I've done this 3 times already since opening a personal dev acct.

Go to your keychain, do you see anything related to "apple world wide developer" in "my certificates" and "certificates"?

Also a dumb question for ya. When it asked you to go to your key chain and create via certificate assistant you did that?

what about under keys do you have public and private keys associated with those? But if you already revoked certificates then probably doesnt matter, did you try to let xcode refresh everything for you? Bring up the organizer and try it.

I would start all over. I'd get rid of everything in the key chain (Apple development related stuff) I know one of my certs stopped working out of the blue not long ago, and I deleted everything from the keychain and started all over again. You got nothing to loose. Delete the Apple Dev related stuff (incl. the world wide apple)... Also go into your xcode and make sure they are out of there as well under the organizer. Then without redoing the certs try redownloading them all. If that dont work. Delete from the key chain again and xcode and provision portal and start all over. Here's what I'm thinking. You loaded your new MAC with the old certs and they are probably in there instead of the new ones.

Certs can be a pain sometimes. No worries man. Anytime. Hope you get it going. If its in the Xcode, feel free to delete in the key chain. I assume code signing can go. Im not near my mac right now but double check if it's in xcode
