Can Buzztouch do this?

I'm a member of some sites like GoMobileSolutions which has an online builder... it's pretty good, except there's certain restrictions that do NOT appeal to me. (Like paying *them* $99 every time I want my app submitted... like paying $40/mo for them to host it). Hey, I don't mind paying for stuff - but I do have a problem with paying for *every single one* when in my thoughts, it would be like a package (kind of like how you guys have it). The other thing is, that system, while it gives lots of features, limits you kind of to what they have in place. So I'm wondering if anyone might know if I can do this with Buzztouch: (Or if there is a buzztouch pro who might help me / some paid work?) Basically, I want to create an app that combines the concepts of a 'traditional' app (like say a Restaurant's app), but includes both a local approach and specials/deals (not groupon but kind of similar). I saw Scoutmob was created apparently here, so I'm thinking you have the capabilities... Example: Suppose a person lives in the east side of New York... and they want to see what's available to eat nearby *where they are*... so they open the app, and see various locations nearby in a list, which they can click to for more details, sort of an app inside an app... (think traditional file or directory structure: Main > City > Italian > restaurant name > (here sub features like location, specials, info etc.) So when they open the app, essentially it "pinpoints" already where they are, (skipping them clicking through to the city / area etc)... BUT, if they want to actually see other areas, they could also do that. (i.e., suppose they're traveling to the west side of NY and want to see what's available for night then). Can buzztouch do this? If its more enhanced... are there any developers interested in helping me out with some of this? :)

Available Merge Fields [deviceLatitude] A latitude coordinate value (if the device is reporting it's location). [deviceLongitude] A longitude coordinate value (if the device is reporting it's location). Merge Field Usage http://www.mysite.com/localrestaurants.php?deviceLatitude= [deviceLatitude]&deviceLongitude=[deviceLongitude]&userId=[userId] turns into: http://www.mysite.com/localrestaurants.php?latitude=38.4456&longitude=-102.3444&userId=00000 With merge fields it's possible. They (GoMobileSolutions) lure you into their program, hope you invest heavily into the process, then you can't leave. Sort of like fishing, only you're the fish. Fred

Yeah I know. I was happy to join for the marketing materials side, to learn what I (didn't) / needed to know, and I like the demo side, getting ideas / used to the features that could work. I do have many ideas for apps (over 80 lol) - however their system is definitely limited in that respect, and as you said, kind of like being the fish (me). I haven't paid them for any apps and I don't plan to now that I found buzztouch.... have a feeling I'll be outsourcing some though LOL

@ Imtrying How are you getting along with the building of your app? It seems like we're busy with a similar app. I am busy with an app based on my blog with bar/restaurant recommendations in Amsterdam. Let's stay in touch and share ideas. kira
