Making one app in 2 languages, or making two apps in different languages

Of course one app would be best, but i don't have the time to learn how to code it. Is it possible to make two apps, put it on android market, and later only have one app with two languages, and the user who paid for one of the apps have access to the new app? Or do you have a tool to make the app in two languages?

What you probably wish to do is localize the app. One app multiple languages.

as i write, that would be the best, but i don't have time to do it right now with this app. So either (1) need some tool to localize the app. Or (2) make two apps, and later delete them and make one localized, and hope that the android market allows to link old customers of the apps to the new app so they don't have to pay for it again. Is there a localize tool? Or know the answer for the second question?

Is there a localize tool? Don't know of tool. Or know the answer for the second question? I believe you can. Remember reading about this in Android.

I think, for iOS, you just need to provide localization files in order to have this work on a single app. Check out this thread: http://www.buzztouch.com/forum/thread.php?tid=44E4F3F74DA9C88CC5F6AEF&command=isSearching&currentPage=1&topicTitle=localization&createdBy=&repliedBy=&minViews=-1&maxViews=-1&minReplies=-1&maxReplies=-1&forumCategory= There was a guy in the forums who created a couple of them. What language are you looking for? Mark

@Mark: I think he wants it for Android, I was about to suggest: http://www.raywenderlich.com/2876/how-to-localize-an-iphone-app-tutorial Fantastic tutorial if you want to localize languages. Worth a look, gives some good ideas too.

Sweet! That link, plus the strings.xml file that comes with buzztouch should do the trick! (Assuming the correct language strings.xml file is created) Mark

@Mark I've never had the opportunity to do localized stuff for Android, but for iOS I followed the guy above and did the trick. But I'm subscribing to this just to see if its that easy for Android:)

You can localize your app with the help of an online tool like https://poeditor.com/ All the necessary info you need is on their website.
