Plugin installation problems

Hi there It would be great if someone in here could guide me into installing the plugins I just downloaded from buzztouchmods.com I'm having problems with uploading the zip files to my plugin folder. There comes an error saying that the zip file was compressed with a wrong compressor??? The plugin that I want to install is the custom list menu and the header image plugins, if thats any help. I could really use some help! Thanks... /Pete

Have they been compressed in .rar instead of .zip? If you have ftp access to your server, unzip the plugins on your desktop and ftp the unzipped folder into the plugins directory. Hit refresh in your server and they should be there and installed. Plugins directory is at /files/plugins. Depending on how you unzip to your desktop, make sure that another folder hasn't been created inside the main folder.

Try unzipping the folder (on your computer), and uploading the folder via FTP to your plugins directory. Then, click the refresh button on the plugins page. Should get around any zip problems you have.

Hey all, those zips were not packaged to be simply uploaded, as some of them have other files that need to be placed in other parts of the server via ftp. unzip, and make sure you upload the folders to the right places ;) the refresh! David buzztouchmods.com
