Has anyone noticed app developers are getting younger and younger? When i first looked into making apps i thought you had to be a computer nerd and be super smart. But with Buzztouch and a few other programs i have realized that app developers are as young as 14 and it is amazing how certain programs can be such a game changer! Thank you Buzztouch! -Jack

They are young and old! I am 52, and just started to learn development a couple of years ago. Now I have several apps on the App Store, and I wouldn't be having so much fun if it wasn't for buzztouch!

I am 16 years old and just published my first app last week (thanks to buzztouch). Working with computers has always just been a hobby of mine on the side of school and baseball. Buzztouch has given me the opportunity to learn how objective-c works without any formal training or self investments. I would have never been able to recieve any of these things due to my obvious financial state at 16. I hope what I learn now can turn into a career sometime in the future.

@aasatt, that is so cool! Maybe you can earn some money on the App Store for college. I am so proud of you! I hope a lot more high school students can find out about Buzztouch. Even though Buzztouch makes it a lot easier, it still is very complicated and takes a great deal of drive and intelligence to create an app. Congratulations!

@aasatt: You rock! Super stoked to see this message and agree 100% with @SusanMetoxen, a college fund (a % of each apps sale or job maybe?) is an excellent idea. a) Keep studying and playing ball while you can and it's available to you. b) Focus on what you enjoy in college (academically). Career does not need to mean "work" in the general sense. c) Graduate. Graduate. I'll say it again. Graduate. Even if you feel prepared before the college this is complete - graduate! d) Create your own thing / gig or do the old-fashioned apprenticeship route and help somebody else for awhile. Either way is fine but I do wish more apprentice opportunities existed today, like they used to. e) Keep learning. Life long learners have a huge advantage over the masses. Done being "dad" and congrats again for making good use of your time ;-)
