API KEY-used to have one, now don't see it?

I had an API key before the "NEW Buzztouch" and now, I can't see it under my account. Is there a mistake? I had a self hosted server before the new BT website, but my web host server had an error or issue and was taken down. Now I am ready to host my own BT server, but when I go under my account, I don't see any keys, I am 100% positive I had them before. Would I have to "BUY" a API KEY ? Please let me know. Thanks!

There's a huuuuuuuuuuge thread on this somewhere. No idea where it is now. Parker@Buzztouch was adding keys. Hopefully he'll pick this up.

It happened to a lot of people, me too. We were posting on the thread and Parker was adding them for us. If BT don't see this thread, perhaps drop them an email?

Raoul, We just set up an API Key in your control panel. Because you are grandfathered in there is no charge for this. A) Visit your BT control panel and update the details for your self hosted server. The self hosted link is on the left. B) Visit your self hosted control panel and update the details for your API key to match the settings you put in your BT control panel. Enjoy...

I know this is a moot point, but I just wanted to chime in and say that the same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago, and Stephen also quickly and very nicely got it fixed for me as well. Three cheers to the folks at Buzztouch for being such a fantastic system with such fantastic people behind it. This is why I recommend Buzztouch, the paid version, to any aspiring developers. Thank you Stephen, and Buzztouch!

Hi All, I think I'm in the same boat - no API key in my control panel. However, my self-hosted server doesn't complain at all, it says " Success! Registration key and settings are valid" I'd imagine I need to get this fixed on the buzztouch site? Kind Regards Darrel

ictguy, We just set up an API Key in your control panel. Follow the steps outlined in my reply above. 1) I will contact you regarding our enterprise services. 2) The self hosted server runs v2.0 3) You can delete apps from the self hosted server and they will stop working. Have fun

I think I also had an API Key so I could try out self hosting, but can't seem to find anything on my control panel. I've uploaded the server files and it all seems fine ... I can use the self hosted site to create an Application but can't download the source code. Any chance I can get an API Key in time to help out at this "Help The Homeless Hackday" that's coming up this weekend? We have only a single afternoon to create something Tech based that will help homeless people Only way I think I can put something together in such a short space of time is by using Buzztouch. I really want to try using a self hosted buzztouch site as internet can get very congested at these events so any speed increase will help us get more done in the short amount of time we have. http://homelesshack.com/

Hi Stephen, I hate to be a pain but I still don't see anything in my control panel. Can you post a screen grab of what it should look like. My BT2.1.6 server works fine but I don't see any API key here on my Buzztouch.com control panel. Thanks

@Philmcdau, It appears that you do have an API Key in your account. Seems that the last request was made in Feb. If you can't find it shoot me an emal at [email protected] and I will see what we can do.
