Calendar Plugin/Integration

Hi Guys, I've been asked by someone to create an app that allows a user to select a category, and then be taken to a calendar for that "topic", where the user can view details about the event. Does anyone know of an embeddable website, or even a plugin that could be used to create this? Appreciate your help guys. Thanks, // J

Google "Google Calender API" they have lots of info. I imagine once you some Google Maps, Google Calender should be easy. I'll get around to it one day. Fred

I would think Google Calendar here as well. I've looked at a ton of calendar code to use in my projects and even tinkered with the UIEvent a little in XCode. but I went with Google calendar simply because it gives you a back end where ANYONE (that you give access to) can add/delete events to the calendar from ANYWHERE using a browser. you can embed it right in your app the only thing that would make it better is to be able to chnage the color of the calendar. the month view is hard to see in the app. Agenda view works better.
