Convert image RSS to JSON/BuzzTouch

Hey guys, I'm thinking of making an app for a popular website that posts "funny" images. They have a FeedBurner RSS. I was wondering whether anyone knew if it was possible to use a tool to dynamically convert this to a BuzzTouch-usable JSON feed, usable in an image gallery? As far as I'm aware, other app builders (like RedFoundry) do support image feeds. Has anyone been able to achieve it with BT? Thanks guys!

It can easily be done. I had once converted a xml feed into json.. I had done it in php. I had grabbed the feed content in a variable using curl and then replaced the xml tags with json using the replace functions.

Indeed, that'd be great if you could provide some instructions.
