Don't use both for same button. and ran it on my device and i have no menu buttons.does anybody know how to get these to show up?? Did you update the Config file? Try updating the app's data by using the device menu button when at the device's home screen.

To properly deploy your Android app read The Android Process found on my guide, MySkylla's Guide to Buzztouch. www.MySkylla.com Also suggest you read Buzztouch Screens, and for button help follow the link on Menu (Buttons). Fred

Yeah I updated the configuration file.and refreshed the app on the device.I've Been using buzztouch for quiet some time now.I have two apps on the market already and lately since I've had some time to do some more I have nothing but issues with it.I not only have issues with buzztouch but I am having issues with the self hosted panel to.I just can't figure out what the problem is.and the eclipse install I have whch is the classic version seems to be fine.as far as the buttons go I have set them up the way the guide explains and the screen is black with no buttons

You can, but that won't solve your problem and you'llnot be able to use the CP. It's either in or out, can't be both. Using a text editor to create screens is a powerful and useful skill (and a great time saver once you accomplish it), but first you have to get buttons to work. Using a text editor now will only complicate the matter Fred

Ok,so after messing around for three days with it I decided to make a similar sample in 1.5.guess what?it works with no issues.I am now guessing that 2.0 for android still has bugs.following the guide for menu buttons works for 1.5,but I can't get it to work for 2.0.to be honest I didn't realize that I could choose between control panels.i must of jumped over that part when I started a new project.

It's the same process, with only one variation. Where to save the button images. In BTv2.0 Android use res > drawable In BTv1.5 Android use Assets > BT_images Now that you're successful with BTv1.5 try BTv2.0. I would say the only reason you successfully used BTv1.5 is that your efforts in BTv2.0 prepared you for BTv1.5. Actually BTv2.0 is basically BTv1.5 rebuilt to use plugins, so there's not many bugs in it's core features that weren't worked out in BTv1.5. I would guess that if you go back to BTv2.0 things will magically work this time around. Besides if you read my Buzztouch Screens article you'll realize how limited BTv1.5 Android is and you'll forget about using BTv1.5. Fred
