I would be that the app owner is... a) Using PHP or some other backend technology to download all sorts of data from all sorts of feeds then entering this into a database of their own. b) Using PHP or some other backend technology to create a "feed" from there finely curated data to the app. It's all about getting the data organized then output to the app. Comments I guess it depends on where all the data is coming from?
