How to show search results on worldmap?

Hi Could somebody please tell me how to show search results (such as users and/or their info) on a worldmap on Google maps or Openlayers? Thanks

Hi Fred, Thanks for your quick replies, but this is not what i was searchin for. Please checkout the drupal homepage http://drupal.org/. You will see a worldmap with the activity of the users worldwide. I would like to implement this activity plus the ability to search for content the user provided, while the searchresults will be provided on a worldmap.

Yes this was exactly was i was searchin for i will try to work with this. Do you have any knowledge about how this would be implemented in an app?
