Id like to have my app have users be able to add pictures to a image gallery. or a video gallery and add stuff to that. how can i accomplish this?

Image is easy, you can host on your own server or on Flickr. Search the forum for image gallery, good few tutorials out there. Video, never done it

Here's a short tutorial. 1) Login to BT Server. 2) Click Admin in the top right. 3) Click Manage Plugins from the left toolbar. 4) Click Add or Update Plugins above the list of plugins 5) Click the + button next to the text box, and navigate to the ZIP you downloaded. 6) Press Upload. 7) Once it has given you a success message, click Refresh Plugins. 8) You're done! Let me know if you have any more issues.

well thats kind of a problem since i dont self host. im thinking about self hosting but i have no idea how to go about and do that

Hey Ceerup, If you don't self host, you can't use that plugin you downloaded. If you need a user controllable gallery, I'd strongly recommend using BT 1.5 as you can setup an image uploader, or image emailer, very easily. Otherwise, get in touch with me and I can help you setup BT 2.0 (self hosted). // J

Ceerup I can walk you through that tomorrow if you want. I have a mix of storing on my server and posting to a twitter account. Don't have time tonight but can be easily done.

ok macapple sounds great. one quick question, does all those images being uploaded count as screens and such on the buzztouch server

In a word, no! One screen is an image gallery, 500 images is still one screen.

Ah? Another good question. I had issues in past with porn pics. If you don't regulate they show up right away, if you do regulate users don't get the instant thrill of interaction.

Yip. Flickr makes it easier to manage. Posting to your server means daily checks.

Ok so i have flickr, i used the image gallery plug in. copy and pasted the URL. The Images work in the gallery. But when i swipe to the next picture, the picture moves off the screen, also theres nothing for a user to upload anything This is android, and im using self hosted control panel
