Test Android App On Mobile Device

I'm trying to test my Android App project directly on my mobile device and I'm struggling to get it to work. Eclipse isn't picking up my device, how do I run my app on my device? Any help will be much appreciated. Las

It's always a good idea to try asking Google first. You'll get a few thousand things you can start trying. One of 'em will work. It's just a matter of finding which one. Good luck.

you can just email yourself the .apk file and install it with one click on the device. thats going to better simulate the end user experience anyway. just make sure your device is set to allow "install non market applications"

Can anyone tell me why is the Android version so so different to the iOS version. My app looks great on an iOS device but I have just created my Android version of it and its nothing like the iOS. I appear to have many issues and not sure how to sort: Issues On Android 1. Flickr Gallery doesn't work, works on iOS 2. Font Size in my Biog section is huge compared to iOS version 3. Tweeter Feed doesn't work, again works in iOS 4. My button size is much smaller and button titles don't fit, again these are all fine in iOS 5. Splash screen doesn't work I know the platforms are different but is Buzztouch more for iOS than Android as the difference is so much that I'm not sure how to fix my Android issues and I'm not that strong on Eclipse like I am on Xcode. Any hints and tips welcome, in fact I'm desperate.

Can anyone tell me why is the Android version so so different to the iOS version. Same reason Window is different from Apple. My app looks great on an iOS device but I have just created my Android version of it and its nothing like the iOS. I appear to have many issues and not sure how to sort: You designed your app as an iOS app, hence it looks like an iOS app running on a Android. Same would be true the other way. Issues On Android 1. Flickr Gallery doesn't work, works on iOS 2. Font Size in my Biog section is huge compared to iOS version 3. Tweeter Feed doesn't work, again works in iOS 4. My button size is much smaller and button titles don't fit, again these are all fine in iOS 5. Splash screen doesn't work You must be using BTv1.5, try BTv2.0 I know the platforms are different but is Buzztouch more for iOS than Android as the difference is so much that I'm not sure how to fix my Android issues and I'm not that strong on Eclipse like I am on Xcode. BTv1.5 (Android) is very limited. Read Buzztouch Screens in my guide: www.MySkylla.com Fred Any hints and tips welcome, in fact I'm desperate.

Hi Fred thanks for the advice. Question; was the update from Buzz 1.5 to 2.0 suppose to offer an improvement to Android builds? One of the reasons why I didn't want to use 2.0 because it appeared that some of the plug-in features were removed.

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I have been building the app initially for iOS, getting the content and look like I want it, and then doing a whole separate build for Android. It's just too different of an experience, for me at least. @ATRAIN - GREAT suggestion. This is probably the easiest way to get that app to your Android device. @Fred - thank you for that MySkylla site - I've bookmarked it and reference it now. Please don't take it down or change it any time soon! :)
