Android Specifics

Are there any Android App Specific step by step how to's? I think I have all of the required software downloaded but going through the process is still a little confusing. I would like to do like a testing 123 type app if there is something like there here or on another site. Thx in advance

Congratulations on getting so far! If you go to the 'How To's section above and go to GoNorthWests excellent Android tutorials you'll end up knowing more than you need to!

Hi @mrshwd, They may have gotten lost in that little back and forth @Fred and I had, but I gave you a list of PDFs that should get you going. First you need to setup your Eclipse environment: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Setting_Up_Your_Android_Development_Environment_v1.3.pdf Then you can import and compile your app: http://www.buzztouch.com/resources/Compiling_Your_Android_Application_v1.0.pdf This should get you to the point where you can see the app in an emulator. Don't hesitate to ask questions! Best way to test this is create a small test app on buzztouch, download the source, and use that as your "hello world" app. Mark
